Join us on Sunday, January 11, 2026, for an evening of poetry by Texas Poetry Assignment contributors. This event will include both contributor readings and memorial reflections on Milton Jordan, one of our most frequent contributors, who passed on December 23, 2025.

For this first reading of 2026, contributors will be asked to read two poems: one of their own poems recently published by TPA and a second poem on the topic of joy by another poet.

After the reading, Laurence will lead us in a brief poetry workshop on a forthcoming assignment.

This event will also be a fundraiser for Feeding Texas.

Readers might consider selecting poems on the same topics as recent assignments.
