Join us on Sunday, November 30, 2025, for an evening of poetry by Texas Poetry Assignment contributors. This event will include both contributor readings and a generative workshop on a future TPA assignment related to Pre-Texas.

For this November reading of 2025, contributors will be asked to read one poem of their choosing.

After the reading, Laurence will lead us in a brief poetry workshop on the topic of Pre-Texas, wherein we reflect on the possibility of a poem that takes as its setting any period before the Texas Revolution of 1835.

This event will also be a fundraiser for Feeding Texas.

Readers might consider selecting poems on the same topics as recent assignments.
